So, I have not posted anything in a few weeks, and there are many reasons why that is. The first is that I live in Massachusetts, and was hit by the really bad icestorm a few weeks back and was without power for a week, i.e. no interwebz, or computer. The next is that work has been crazy because I work in a mall, and my hours for the past couple of weeks have been long and often. More recently however, my sister came home for the holiday and my dad is getting married tomorrow, so there is a lot of events happening in my household.
Also, since it is the holidays and my guild is not a hardcore raiding guild, that we are taking the holidays off and are not raiding.
So until after the new year, I will hopefully have a new computer and time to post more.
Have a happy holiday season, and have a delicious day!

New Raiding
Ok so my guild, Is Being Repressed has started raiding again! YAY! And even though I did not go to the first night (as I was not 80 yet), I did go to the second night.
There we attempted the Construct Quarter of 25 man Naxxramas. So I am not going to go through all of the bosses that we did, and if you are curious you can follow the link and look at the different strats for each of the bosses. I found that depending on my healing assignment I could heal a few different ways.
Now I am going to give a little background on my spec and my glyphs. My spec is on the Armory so you can go look under Cusper on Muradin but here it is anyway: Cusper's Spec. The other things that are attributed to my new way of healing are the glyphs that I am currently using. I am currently using:
Glyph of Regrowth
Glyph of Innervate
Glyph of Swiftmend
So while I was healing I noticed a huge difference in the style of my healing as a glyphed Regrowth and with the new spell Nourish.
So my rotation ended up being throw a Lifebloom and Rejuvenation on the tank for some first heals, then cast Regrowth and spam Nourish with some more LBs still in there to get to the 3 stacks. I use grid with colors that change depending on how much time is left on a HoT so I can time my casts so that Regrowth is never off the tank.
And now with the Glyph of Swiftmend I can have some burst healing without having to recast on of my other HoTs. Something to also mention is that Swiftmend can use any Druid's spells not necessarily your own. The other resto druid in my guild, Kelar and I figured that out one day when we both realized that we had probably been Swiftmending each other's spells. So now that they do not consume a HoT, then we both do not have to reapply our spells.
So in a nutshell, I use my instant casts, Rejuv and LB first, then cast Regrowth, LB, Nourish, LB, and continue with each spell when they run out until burst healing is needed then and then I can use Swiftmend, or Nature's Swiftmend, Healing Touch.
So now that I have done my main tank healing spell rotation, the only thing you really need to remember for raid healing is Wild Growth. You can rejuv and swiftmend for quick heals, but mainly Wild Growth.
So continue questing, and raiding, and have a Delicious Day!

Leveling in Wrath: LeveL 80!
So I finally hit level 80! YAY!
So how I finally got to 80... (my guild master says I fail at leveling since I hit 80 right after our first raid ended)
I got sick of Storm peaks very fast. I did not like the quests, so I decided to go to Sholazar Basin, as stated in my last post. I like the quests a lot here. You actually get ported back to Un'goro crater in one of the quests, kill a dude, then port back. It was a lot of fun.
After I finished with all the quests in the Basin, I decided that I would go around to all of the zones and discover all of the sub-zones in order to get the achievement for the title of Explorer. I then proceeded to Icecrown. I actually liked these quests. They were arranged in a logical order and it was very easy to get a few done at one time. The only thing is, if you do not have an epic flyer, I bet this zone would not be as fun. The first bunch of quests that you get are actually on a flying ship around the middle of the zone. It took a while for me to find it because I have to turn my video settings down low so that I do not lag a lot.
But now that I am 80, time to respec resto. I have not decided whether to use the Regrowth or Lifebloom glyph yet, but the other two are good(Innervate and Swiftmend). I am also questioning either Natural perfection and Replenish for a few of my last points. We shall see how that goes.
And since I missed the first raid, my guild, Is Being Repressed, has downed the Plague and Spider wing of Naxx (Grats guys!)
Happy raiding and phat lootz, and have a delicious day!

Leveling in Wrath: Part 2
So I am 78 at the moment, and have rested XP all the way up to 79, which is a very good thing as my guild is supposed to start raiding tonight, but I probably can not get in yet. Oh well. I will get there eventually. Hopefully sooner than later.
But as I am 78 I went to Storm Peaks, and hated it. I did a few quests, and I just did not enjoy them, but the scenery is pretty (pics above). So as I have all this rested XP, I figure I will go to Sholazar Basin where all the Nesinwary's quests are. Now in the Basin, there are 2 factions in which you have to choose: The Frenzyheart Tribe and The Oracles. I have been told that since I am a pet collector to get to revered with the Oracles to get a pet and then start doing the other faction's quests.
But since I have started in the basin, I am enjoying it. The graphics look a lot like Un'goro crater to me, and I enjoy the more earthy and living sort of zones. So right now I am just grinding out the last level and a half until 80 and hopefully my next post will be at lvl 80.

Leveling in Wrath: Instances
OK so as of yesterday, I am now a level 77. Yay cold weather flying! Which is amazing, and so helpful because of the increase in flight path prices. So I have only done 3 Instances so far. I have done Nexus, Gundrak, Violet Hold.
I have a few pics from the Nexus, but none from the other instances as I was healing instead of being a boomkin. The nexus was pretty much tank and spank with a few different aspects. Just read about the instances and you will be fine. But I would have to say that the instances are very well done graphically.

Gundrak is sort of a short version of sunken temple. You have a big circle in which after killing each boss you have to activate a stone. The bosses are not that hard. I actually healed it all as a balance druid. The Violet Hold is the new Black Morass but without all the trash in the beginning and without the adds. But the Violet Hold you do need to get a key for. I believe you have to be level 75 in order to get the quest in Dalaran to get the key.
These instances are so much easier than they were in the beginning of Burning Crusade. I almost wish that they were harder. But the one thing I really love about the instances, is that they are all short. No more 4 hour Shadow Labs... these instances probably take about an hour.
So may your instancing be easy, and have a delicious day!
PS. I was mentioned on a Wow Insider Podcasts episode 64! About 20 minutes in about the Magical Crawdad Pet. And I was mentioned in Phealia's Community Spotlight post on Resto4Life!!!

Leveling in Wrath: Part 1
So I finished Borean Tundra... and might I say I wish I had done Howling Fjord first... for two reasons. One reason is that Howling Fjord was REALLY boring and the Tundra was not, and two was that I did not take the time to appreciate the Tundra because I just wanted to get my quests done to level and I had to wait in line to do so many quests. Since I started leveling I have finished 2 zones (Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord) and am halfway through the next (Dragonblight). Here are some screenshots of my time in the Fjord.
So far I really like this area as the quests are interesting, and I get the reputation needed with the Wyrmrest Accord for the head piece enchant for healers. The leveling is very slow as the amount of XP you have to get through is enormous. I do not even look at bubbles anymore. I use XPFu which shows me percentages as well as the actual numerical amounts. I prefer this to bubbles because, well it is just my preference. I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. ANYWAY... back on track. Dragonblight has a lot of quests that say "group" on them... and I am of the opinion that anyway can solo these if they have the will... But then again, sometimes they just hit too hard for a clothy to kill the mob. I have helped a few of my guildies with such quests (they needed someone to heal) even though at the moment I am boomkin specced. But again they are most likely 2 man-able if you have the gear.
I personally really like the way that the Wyrmrest Tower is constructed and the way you have to get to the levels. For those of you out there that were not able to get Netherwing Drakes then you are able to ride dragons without the cost. So far I am able to do many of the quest by myself. I prefer to level with someone else, but most people in my guild are not exactly on the same quests that I am... so I find others around the area and party with them. I just HATE to fight for mobs and that is another reason I disliked the Tundra... because that is all people were doing. Oh well.
Anyway, I have been through The Nexus and will post about that soon. Happy leveling and have a delicious day!

Northrend... Here I come (all bundled up)!
As expected on Thursday, I put the Blizzard DVD into my computer and started installing the new expansion. I pre-ordered the collector's editions and the pet, Frosty, is adorable. I do have Stinker and therefore have a large collection of pets. I had to reinstall the last 2 patches which was fine... but still that was probably the longest part of the installation process. And Muradin.. had a queue.... it is a medium population server and it had a waiting line!!! I was so surprised because when I was on Argent Dawn, I had them all the time. Being that it was the first RP server, that was fine. But argh... so annoying. Mind you the queue was really small compared to my sister's (she is still on Argent Dawn and plays a holy priest).
So I take everything that I will most likely not need out of my bags; my pvp gear, most of my pots, elixirs and flasks, many of my trinkets, and my resist gear. So I now have 3 fully clear bags and feel a lot better about that. Then I take the boat to Borean Tundra (that is where I heard you should go if you are a tailor)... but I plan on doing both the Tundra and Howling Fjord. But as I stepped off the boat, I got the flight path and then proceeded to look for the profession trainers. I spent about 300g in order ot train all of the main and secondary professions inot Grand Master and all the spells and recipies that go with them... So I have Grand Master level of tailoring, enchanting, fishing, first aid, and cooking.
As I started questing, I realized that I relied way too much on Questhelper and I should read the quests more carefully (and not annoy my boyfriend, who is holy priest and who happens to be level 73 already and myself a lowly 71). But even so, after I started actually reading the quests they were very easy to follow and to accomplish. But again with any expansion, people are vying for the same mobs and many do not want to group in order to accomplish the objectives. I on the other hand found a few people to get a few quests done and they were very friendly about it. We all want to get to 80. So why not be nice about it? So I am about halfway through the Borean Tundra and I will keep this updated as I level. Hopefully next will be the Nexus.
Well good luck, happy questing, and have a delicious day!

I have Imp Blizzard... why is the company still the same?
As usually on Tuesday mornings we had maintenance... but Tuesday was yesterday and the realms are still not up... and and as it says... There is not ETA as to when they will be back up... They better be refunding my time. Someone in my guild found a Firefox add on to keep track of realm statuses. I do not know if it is actually working right now, but it will still be cool if it does.
This is one of the worst parts about the expansions, which I think they rushed a little bit. The have too much maintenance and too many hot fixes in order to keep the game running. And now, the day before the expansion, when most people wanted to make a little extra money, or get a few more things in order, they can't.
But if you are still looking for your realm status here you go. I guess that means I will be doing some errands, and working on grad school applications.
Have a Delicious Day!

WOLK - Thursday Nov 13th Release!
So I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Wrath of the Lich King Expansion Pack - which I pre-ordered from Gamestop and will be sent to me some time on Thursday.
I am truly excited for the new content... I was not in Beta so I am unsure of how exactly the questing will go and how fast I will level up, but I will be updating this blog with my current spec and with some pointers as I go along in Northrend.
I have heard that leveling will take a large amount of gold, and leveling professions will take an even larger amount of gold than that. From a friend in beta, just leveling you 71 level spells will take at least 300g. So stock up now if you are planning on leveling more than one character.
But this is also depends on how fast my slow computer installs the xpac, and if it even can withstand the new software, if the servers stay up through all the population (thank the world tree that I am on a medium pop server), and how many people are actually questing and if I am able to get the quests done.
So hopefully my computer holds out til the holidays so I can get a new one, and that people are nice and try to quest in groups...
But until that time, happy hunting and have a delicious day.
